AU Pro – Professional Readiness Opportunities

91福利社鈥檚 QEP:AU PRO, is designed to improve student preparation for the working world through a set of co-curricular opportunities. The program will implement a scaffold of experiences to improve written and oral communication skills while illuminating the overall characteristics of a professional image. As a reflection of the University鈥檚 mission, it engages the lens of servant leader as it builds capacity for the outer signifiers of professionalism.

鈥淩equired of all Member institutions undergoing Reaffirmation of Accreditation, theQuality Enhancement Planis a carefully designed and focused course of action that addresses a well-defined issue directly related to enhancing student learning.鈥�

AU PRO will:

• Focus on professionalism & its value
  • Written communication skills
  • Oral communication skills
  • Characteristics of overall professional image
• Be co-curricular in nature
• Employ the lens of the servant leader and value of professionalism itself

AU PRO鈥檚 Two Part Structure

Signature Series Structure

• Year 1: Written Communication Skills
• Year 2:Professional Image
• Year 3:Oral Communication Skills

Discipline Specific Events:

• Appointment of at least one academic liaison per each school/college
• Will work with Center for Career Development to plan at least four discipline-specific AU PRO events for their school or college per semester
