Cybersecurity Program Level Learning Outcomes

The 91¸£ÀûÉç B.S. in Cybersecurity has five program-level learning outcomes. ÌýThese outcomes represent a description of what graduates will know upon completion of the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity.

Our five learning outcomes are: To develop Cybersecurity graduates…
1.ÌýÌý Ìýwith the technical knowledge and skills needed to secure computer systems and networks.
2.ÌýÌý Ìýthat can plan, develop, and implement a cybersecurity risk management program for organizations.
3.ÌýÌý Ìýwith the sufficient red/blue team skills to attack, defend and audit information system resources.
4.ÌýÌý Ìýthat can secure, manage, and assess cloud-based information resources.
5.ÌýÌý Ìýwith the knowledge to pass an entry-level, professional cybersecurity certification exam.

Our program has other aims, and our students learn many cyber tactics, techniques and procedures that can be used to defend and protect data and computer systems. ÌýStill, these five represent our overall program outcomes or goals for our graduates.

Our learning outcomes are covered over a series of twelve Cybersecurity (CYB) courses that students take while earning the degree. ÌýThese courses are listed below:
