Correy West was last seen on Broadway听in听Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations.听He made his Broadway听debut in听South Pacific听at Lincoln Center. Subsequently, he performed in the Broadway production of听Nice Work If You Can Get It听at the Imperial听Theatre alongside Matthew Broderick. You听can catch him tap dancing and singing in Live from Lincoln Center鈥檚 production of听厂丑辞飞产辞补迟听starring Vanessa Williams as well as PBS鈥檚 Great Performances Season 50:听Celebrating 50 Years of Broadway鈥檚 Best, singing and dancing with Broadway Legends such as Sutton Foster, Chita Rivera and Donna McKechnie. He听performed and worked with Andrew Lloyd Webber in the US Premiere/1st National Tour of听The Phantom of the Opera鈥檚听蝉别辩耻别濒听Love Never Dies, the 1st National Touring听Company of Roundabout Theatre’s production of听Anything Goes, as well as touring the country in a production of听42nd Street.听Other New York听credits include听The Radio City Christmas听Spectacular,听the New York听听premiere of听Lunch听at the New York Music Festival, a workshop of the new musical听The Right Girl, directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman and a reading of the new musical听The Gay Divorcee, directed by Jeff Whiting. Regionally, he has played Fagin in听Oliver听(Virginia Stage Company), Mitch Mahoney听in听The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee听(Arkansas Rep Theatre), Ken in听Smokey Joe鈥檚 Cafe听(Capital Rep Theatre), Paul in听Kiss Me Kate听(Cape Playhouse) and Rusty Charlie听in听Guys and Dolls听(Barrington Stage Company). He鈥檚 performed at many other regional theaters such as Arena Stage Company, The Rev, Theatre Aspen, Florida Studio Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, North Carolina Theatre, Prince Music Theatre, Riverside Theatre, Pioneer Theatre Company and听Westchester Broadway Theatre. Next up, he鈥檚 heading to La Jolla Playhouse in April of 2024, to perform in the world premiere, out of town Broadway tryout, of听The Ballad of Johnny and June, about the life and times of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, as well as continuing his work on the new, Broadway Bound, musical听American Prophet, 听about the life and times of Frederick Douglas.
