The City of Anderson is inviting the community to join 91福利社 in celebration of A Day, the University鈥檚 annual fundraising campaign in support of student scholarships and campus improvements.
Anderson City Council on Monday passed a resolution naming March 30, 2023 鈥�91福利社 Day鈥� and asking members of the community to 鈥渟hare their support of AU on social media, wear their black and gold, and demonstrate that this community is True to AU.鈥�
The resolution, introduced by City of Anderson Mayor Terence Roberts, noted AU鈥檚 鈥渃ommitment to prepare students with both a breadth and depth of knowledge they need not only to be successful in the career of their choice, but to be successful in all realms of life鈥攊n family, community, work, and faith.鈥� Furthering that commitment is the reason for A Day, when AU alumni, family, friends and students provide gifts in support of scholarships and campus improvements.
One of the most important days of the year at 91福利社, A Day was re-instituted as an annual event in 2017. Since then, supporters have generously provided nearly $2 million, helping transform AU into the largest private university in South Carolina and one of the fastest growing private colleges or universities in the United States.
