Now in its 26th year, Clayton King Ministries鈥 Crossroads Summer Camp just finished the first of its five weeks on the 91福利社 campus by celebrating 170 professions of faith for salvation.
The mission of Crossroads Summer Camp is to reach students with the gospel, help them understand God鈥檚 Word and give them the tools to live it out daily. Founded by Clayton and Sharie King, Crossroads takes place over the course of five weeks each summer on the campus of 91福利社, which is a proud partner with Clayton King Ministries.
鈥淏y God鈥檚 grace, we鈥檝e served more than 100,000 students over the last quarter century,鈥 said Rev. Clayton King. 鈥淲hat began in my college dorm room has become a servant of the local church: We want to help pastors and student ministers preach the gospel and make disciples. This was our best 鈥榝irst week鈥 of camp in our history. People are hungry for truth, for community and for the gospel. We saw that first hand this past week.鈥
More than 900 people representing 28 churches around the region attended Crossroads for its first week of activities. In addition to the 170 salvation decisions, 68 students and/or adults answered a call to ministry. Finally, attendees raised more than $9,000 to support mission work and sponsored 50 children through Compassion International.
Four weeks of Crossroads Summer Camp sessions remain on the 91福利社 campus.
