Student Employment FAQs

91福利社 employs over 600 students across campus. These student employees assist various offices across campus such as Sports Medicine, Anderson Central, Admission, Facilities, the Center for Student Success, and many more. These jobs are a great opportunity for students to get plugged-in on campus, explore career interests, and develop skills essential for success in the workplace while earning part-time income.

To be eligible for student employment, you must be enrolled at AU at least part-time (6 credit hour minimum) and maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress, including a 2.0 GPA. Some areas on campus may have higher requirements for a role due to the nature of the work being performed.

New students are eligible for employment the term before they start school once they pre-register for classes. Students are not eligible to continue working as a student employee after they have graduated unless they are becoming a graduate student at 91福利社 or are approved to do so by the Office of Student Employment. We encourage new graduates to look at open staff and faculty positions listed on the HR page!

Students do not have to be eligible for Federal Work Study (FWS) to be hired into a job on campus! Student employee positions are open to any student who applies with theneededqualifications. The posting will specify if FWS eligibility is one of those qualifications.

We encourage students who are FWS eligible to consider applying for positions in offices that prioritize hiring FWS eligible students (Thrift Library and the Center for Student Success) or only hire FWS eligible students (America Reads, America Counts Tutor). To find out if you are eligible for FWS, please contact Financial Aid.

Student employment is not a scholarship.Student employees are paidon a monthly basisvia direct depositto their bank account.
